This game has a ridiculous amount of lingo. In my attempt to figure out WTF is going on, I’m compiling a list of “LOL 101” terms. Let’s get started with one that any new player is probably familiar with:
FARM
Farming is, essentially, making as many kills (via last hits) as you can. You are rewarded for the last hit kill with gold. I mention this as a beginner-friendly concept because I seem to spend a whole lot of time in these early stages killing minions and filling up my bank account. Farming is a great skill to hone that you’ll need as you progress through the game and need to purchase more and more items. Who wants to go shopping?
